Problem in kstartupconfig4 on debian

Hi,

I used the instructions from http://pkg-kde.alioth.debian.org/kde4.html to install KDE4 on debian. Recently I had a problem with KDE after a complete upgrade …

I got the following error message after login window:

“kstartupconfig4 does not exist or fails. Check your installation …“

To solve this issue it was necessary to reinstall the package kdebase-runtime and everything worked properly again.

NOTE: Take care to avoid losing the current settings from your desktop environment.  I recommend doing a backup of ~/.kde. Anyway, the KDE will allow to import the current configuration found in your home.
